Astir Marina Nominated for 2026 EU Mies Awards

We are excited to announce that our Astir Marina Public Realm & Landscape project has been nominated for the 2026 EU Mies Awards, a biennial award recognizing excellence in European architecture. “The landscape design is a giant territorial map, revealing both the site’s layered history and the contemporary forces shaping it—literally inscribed into the terrain of the new marina. Instead of the usual hard-edged infrastructure found in most marinas, our design envisions a softer, greener waterfront: a pedestrian realm of native grasses, shrubs, and trees woven among cafés, shops, and marina amenities.”
